Hi all,
I'm going through diagnosis, which seems to be going on for ever.
I'm off to the endo in August (NHS) for an internal scan
Do you get the result then and there? The thought of waiting another month or two for the result is such a bore.

Hi Mary
If you ask while they are doing the scan they will tell you what they see. The ultrasound technician told me she could see multiple cysts on both my ovaries. Although you don't have to have the cysts to have pcos!
You will probably have an appointment to discuss the results.

HI!

I just had my internal scan on Friday and my ultrasound woman was great. She showed me while she was doing it and on the pictures afterwards that I had loads of little cysts on my ovaries. As Deed says if you ask they will tell you!

DX Febuary 2002 after miscarriage
TCC for 6 years.........DH very very happy bunny.
Was on 1000mg of Gluc XR +vitex pre natal vitamins but stop taking in 2006 as it was doing nothing for me.

High Blood Pressure and now on drugs for this.

I guess I was lucky then in that my Consultant actually did the scan and pointed everything out to me on the screen as he was going along.

Then he went outside and showed my dh the 'snaps' and pointed everything out! Dh's face was a picture! LOL
