Default Newbie with Questions

Hi everyone! I'm hoping someone out there can maybe relate to what I have going on. I was officially diagnosed with PCOS a few weeks ago, the basis of my diagonosis is mainly in the symptoms I'm experiencing and high testosterone levels. What I'm struggling with is that I've never had irregular periods and I was blessed enough to have a DD 2 years ago without any trouble. Doesn't seem to me like what everyone else is experiencing, most everyone has had irregular periods as a main symptom.

I have been put on Metformin 2x/day, 500 mg, I haven't noticed a difference in taking it. I have gained an outrageous amount of weight, 90lbs in 4 years.

Want to know what I can do to get rid of these symptoms!!! What everyone else does or has tried or if I should question whether or not this is even PCOS.

Any replies are appreciated!

what you'll probably be told by most physicians is to try and lose the weight. Your PCOS symptoms may completely go away, and you'll be able to conceive fairly quickly. 10-20% weight loss is all most heavy PCOS ers need to loose
