Hello Everyone i hope i wont be to winded in explaining my story.
In 1989 I was told I had PCOS after two home pregnancy test and a doctors office test confirmed i was pregnant. Was scheduled for a sonogram at this time i was told there was no pregnancy. My periods at this time had completely stopped. I have all the symptoms , these are the main ones i have, hair growth, large tummy, diabetic, and i don't ovulate.
Was in process of planning my wedding , mostly due to the fact of being pregnant , which i was not. Married him anyways. I have been over weight my whole life and someone said they loved me so went for it. In early 1990 i became very ill with ITTP & TTP ( Idiopathic Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Pupura & Thrombotic Thrombocytopenia Purpura ) . I battled with these illnesses once a year until late 1998 . I went through high doses of prednisone and plasmapheresis. During this time i had maybe 3-5 menstrual cycles .
In 1999 I no longer showed symptom's of ITTP & TTP and my menstrual cycle became regular. Was told we could procedd with fertility treatment at this time. Was put on glucotrol for the diabetes and was told to maintain sugar at 110 or below at all times , and put on depo provera to regulate my cycle. I had and HSG done and found uterus and fallopian tubes to be free of blockage and in good shape.
In 2000 found out my huband was having an affair and divorced him. In 2001 I met the man God intended me to spend the rest of my life with and moved to Canada from the United States to be with him . We married in 2003 and have been trying ever since to become pregnant . Yesterday i went to the OB/GYN for the first time since 1999/2000 and he started me on Clomid. I will be starting my first round of Clomid soon, and i pray that i will be blessed with a child. I have never wanted anything more in my life than to be a mother.
I am the kind of person that cries at the baby stories on TLC or the Discovery Channel, i hate it for being so jealous of these women. I see children in stores and just want to hold them.
