My name is Kara. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS in May of this year. I'm currently on 1700mg of Metformin.
DH and I have been TTC since October of 2005.
A little background: I have a DD (7) from a previous marriage. DH has a DS (14) DD (11) and DD (6).
Things should've of been working, right? Well, not so much.
If we don't get a BFP within the next couple of months, we're going to start Clomid.
I posted a question on the Metformin board, but maybe someone here has a suggestion or answer.
I was wondering if those that are on Metformin have also had some adult beverages while taking it. DH and I were wanting to go away this weekend, and I would love nothing more than to relax with a good glass of wine or margarita. Any advice or opinions? I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Welcome to SC. I have had some drinks while on my met (1500mg) however I didn't take my evening pills if i knew i was going to be drinking. I never had a problem. That's just my experience though.

Ya'll are too sweet! Thanks for the warm welcomes and replies to my question!!
I'm happy to report that I did have a few beers last night, but alternated beers and water. I was a cheap date, but felt great this morning! No problems what so ever!!
