I took Nature's Way Vitex (400 mg pills) for about 3 months when I got my BFP. I started taking Vitex toward the end of a very long cycle and on my 2nd cycle, I got my first ever BFP (I'm now 32 weeks pg).
Vitex can take up to 6 months to work, but I've seen it take a lot less based on other women here and myself.
What it does is helps to regulate your hormones (estrogen, progesterone, LH and FSH) which in turn helps your ovaries figure out what they need to do. One of the main reasons PCOS makes it so hard to get pg for some women is that our hormones are out of whack and make our ovaries confused. They don't know what they're supposed to do.
