I've recently been diagnosed with PCOS ( 1yr.) I am 22yrs. old. I was devasted at first becausew my husband and I really want children. So the first thing i thought was oh no! I'm not going to have any kids!!! Then i started thinking i'm going to need IVF and all that other expensive stuff that insurance doesn't cover and that left me even more depressed. I've visited a fertility specialist. Took the glucose test. Husband did the SA. everythings ok. Not overweight. Just acne. Next week i have an appointment with the doc to hopefully get my clomid prescription. However now i'm taking Vitex and Dong Quai cuz i heard it helps with normaling my period and ovulation. I'm also taking Evening Primrose and Flaxseed Oil and prenatal vitamins. Hope this works!! Good Luck to all!!!

Welcome to SC! Having PCOS doesn't necessarily mean no children, but it does make having them interesting. GL!

Welcome. If you take a look around you'll see that most of us have conceived. We have some interesting journeys, though. Play around on the Trying to Conceive Board and you'll find lots of good info and support.
