Hi everyone so glad i finally joined up here.
I have had PCOS my whole life.All the woman in my family have it.
I'm not on any medications(not even for a headache) as i prefer to use natural methods such as watching my diet,exercising and taking supplements.It would be a dream come true like a lot of woman here to have a baby but if it's not to be then i wont worry.
My life is pretty full being the administrator of 2 online artist doll forums.I'm married to a great guy and we are currently selling our house.
I try to remain positive despite a whole range of PCOS symptoms which include hirtuism,obesity,high blood pressure,memory loss,hairloss,skin patches,infertility.
Because i've had PCOS my whole life i never think of it as a disease,it's just normal to me,it's weird to say that i know.
I hope to find lots more info about my condition here.

Welcome! I feel the way you do about medications. However, I wanted to throw a thought out there: Metformin is over 80years old and is one of the safest drugs out there. It is probably safer than many of the supplements. Supplements do not have to go through the same safety standards as true medications. Just because it's all natural..doesn't mean it's better. I was so hesitant to start metformin, but it has helped so much. Anyway...good luck and welcome to SC.
