Hi. I am from newfoundland and been seeing my gyne for 10 yrs all she does for me is yearly endometrial biospies. She has never mention met to me. I am going to ask her for it wheen i see her again. Do anyone know any good newfoundland dr that know alot about pcos if i can not get met from her. I am at the end of my rope. I am the point i knows i needs to treat this.

Hi L76..

I would ask your gyne about the met first. The only doc I know in NF is in Mount Pearl - Sheilah McGrath.. Not even sure if she's still there or not, but she used to practice on Commonwealth Ave in the clinic right above the Shopper's Drug Mart. Sorry, I can't be of anymore help. She was the one to diagnose me in 96 and sent me off to an endocrinologist.

When you go to your gyne try to load yourself with as much info. as you can. Maybe some of the other girls can point you in the right direction regarding the proper tests you can ask for and the literature to help explain the need for these tests.
