Janet, glad to hear you and baby are going great. Wow over 7lbs already. God love him/her. You'll have a nice healthy baby! I'm really excited for you and can't wait to see photos after the arrival. Welcome JennC! Great News Tracy! I hope all is well. It gives me so much hope! Are you doing anything different to have good luck after 10 years? I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. (how old is your first child?) I'm getting excited, on Sunday my hubby and I are going to Varadero Cuba for a week. This is out first trip outside Canada, and we are super excited. Everyone keeps telling me "maybe you'll come back with a baby in your belly"! That would be nice. If my calander is correct I will be ovulating that week, so you never know! Hope all is well! Take care and chat again really soon!

Hope you have a great trip...Never no what a vacation can bring, I'm praying for ya. The only thing different with this cycle is I tryed femera instead of clomid. I also up'd my dose of Met from 1500-2000. However my lines are really really faint today almost looks like an evap! My boy is 12 and he wants a brother or sister soooooooo bad! Hoping to get a beta soon, probably on Monday.

I see him all the time too. If it wasn't form him I would not have Christopher. He was the only gyno I saw that actually took the time to do some in depth bloodwork, and he discovered I was ovulating around day 20. So I think you will be in good hands. Keeping you in my prayers that everything will be okay. ![]() |

| Registered User Join Date: Jul 2001 Location: St. John's NF ![]() | Hi all. I'm not new to PCOS or to this site but new to this thread. Cool to see a few active Newfie Cysters! I'm in St. John's, will be 50 yo (GASP!) in a few months, have 2 daughters (23 and 21) who both have PCOS as well. Currently I'm taking metformin to try and control insulin levels. I am Type 2 Diabetic. I've been controlling my bg levels with diet alone since starting low carbing and had given up the met, but recently added it back to try and lower insulin levels and maybe kick off a bit of weight loss. My oldest daughter is being treated with spironolactone and bcp and my youngest is taking bcp only. I think the youngest is kind of in a bit of denial about PCOS. Neither of them have any serious problems with weight although they have to stay on top of things by watching what they eat and making sure they get enough exercise. Right now I'm a stay at home wife again, I'm practicing for retirement so I can give hubby a few pointers in a couple of years. My oldest daughter is a grad student at U of T but is currently home on sick leave for a condition that seems to be related to PCOS but is being treated separately. She's going back to TO in May to finish up an outstanding work term so she can graduate in Oct. It's looking like she has a job here in town to return to then. Whoo Hoo! My youngest is also living at home and attending CONA. I have an older son (just turned 27) who is living in Que. Anyway, that's me and mine in a nutshell. Margaret |
