Hi there,
We are a group of cysters from Newfoundland who have found a bond with each other through being gals with PCOS and being from"The Rock".
A few of us have been around for ages and some of us have just started to get to know one another.
We are open and accepting of all fellow Newfoundlanders and Labradorians living in the Province or those who have,like so many others,found themselves in some other part of the country for employment and other opportunities.
So.....to our regular girls......Welcome to our new thread for the Winter of 2008.....and .....if you are a Newfie,are related to a Newfie or even just know a "good ole" Newfie.....pull up a seat and let's get to know each other! |

Just marking my spot!  How's was everyone's New Year/ Christmas? Hope Santa was good?
This is going to be amazing year!!! 8 of 2008 is considered to be a very lucky number.
We had our 1st OBGYN appt yesteday.. everything was very postive (i.e I'm gaining the right amt of weight, blood pressure is great etc.. etc..).
The Dr mentioned that @ my 18 wk u/s my placenta was low.. she said it was nothing to really worry about, since as the uterus grows the placenta grows higher. Just as a caution the clinic is booking me an u/s @ 34 wk's.
Other then that, it was a great appt.  I go back in 4 wks.
Hope the weekend is amazing for everyone!!

OMG ladies where is everyone?? I have some VERY EXCITING news!!!
I just got a BFP after 10 years of waiting.
My mom Had surgery today to remove some of her bowels, I had a vey rough day but it was worth it when I got home tonight to see those 2 beautiful lines!!
My mom will be happy tomorrow! She done great with her surgery Thank heavens! | |

BYW, how's your Mom? | Oh my...why is everything always screwed up for me???
I took another test tonight a different brand and it was a BFN!!
SO I don't know what to think now. No symptoms besides headache
and dizziness
My mom is doing pretty good, very sleepy today which is good she never slept much yesterday. They had her up and around last night and a couple of times today. But other than that she has no pain(great pain meds) lol

I'm sorry hun! However, maybe you should take another one tomorrow, of a different brand....Maybe there just wasn't enough urine....maybe it was an expired test....keep your chin up.

Hope your mom is doing well.
