I was just diagnosed with PCOS this past Tuesday. My husband and I are trying to concieve right now and the Doctor is running some tests on me right now. Also, sent me to a Doc that specializes in this in my area. I am nervous and scared that they will tell me that I won't be able to have anymore children. This website is really neat! Thanks.

Amy, when I was diagnosed two years ago I also thought I couldn't have any more children, but miracles do happen, even for cysters. Check my sig line for some living proof.
It's great you are seeing a specialist, but it's also important you become a specialist now. Read up on PCOS and the related infertility problems. There are excellent articles all over these boards. They helped me take matters in my own hands, and I ended up knowing more than my doctors, which has really helped my out more than just once.

I hope you will find out the exact cause of your problems (most of us don't ovulate on our own) and get treatment, and more importantly, that you will get pregnant.

I was told I probably wouldn't have any more kids. ( That was before I found a good doc and started met.) I got pregnant after about 10 months of met (1500 mg)! We had been trying for over 3 years! Miracles do happen!
