newly diagnosed Hiya thought I'd say hello.
I'm Vickie,almost 25 and was diagnosed with PCOD last week after infertility tests. I'm very overweight (need to lose 112lbs eek!!
) and last cycle was March
GP has referred me to gynae, first appointment is on the 21st of this month. Not sure what to expect TBH
. I'm very happy to have found this site, look forward to getting to know you all

glad you found us. There is a link to the newbie roadmap in my siggie for you.
What id suggest, is to write down everything that you want to ask/say to your dr so you dont forget. Thats what i always do.

Thanks Eva, I'm not able to se links yet but came across the road map while browsing earlier, its scary but I firmly believe knowledge is power so going in armed with the info can only help my case, right?

yes, knowledge is like power. It's true it seems sometimes that we have to teach drs about pcos.
it's different 'living with pcos' rather than 'reading about pcos' in some medical book
