Hello~ I have just recently been diagnosed with PCOS (actually, it was only 2 days ago xD). My symptoms are the weird horomone levels along with a period that goes on too long, and facial hair growth.
I just recently started taking a birth control pill (I feel so weird saying that, because I'm not taking it for the obvious reason...) and it's helped my period stay short and not nearly 3 weeks.
I'm a little confused about how I have it, and yet not all the symptoms and such.

My case is just as yours, newly diagnosed with pcos. However i chose not to go on the meds because thankfully i dont suffer from the symptoms. I'm considering going on metformin instead of the birth control and Provera i was prescribed. I hope all goes well for you. I haven't got my period in almost 6 months, and it really worries me.

from what ive learnt here, every womans pcos is slightly different, so we dont have to have all the symptoms to have pcos. Quite confusing. :confusing: there is a link to the newbie roadmap in my siggie for you
