 Newly diagnosed with PCOS and Problems with Yaz
Hi! I'm posting under my sister's username. I am 23 years old. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS. The only symptoms I have are high testosterone(in the mid 60's) and around 10-11 follicles/cysts. All of my other levels/tests have been normal. My period has always been regular and I ovulate monthly. My doctor put me on Yaz to correct my hormonal imbalance. I have been on Yaz for almost a month. This is my first time using BCP. I have been spotting on and off the whole month along with headaches, naseau, cramps, backaches, and fatigue. I do not like being on BCP. Does it sound like I even have PCOS? My sister does not think I have it due to my lack of symptoms. She was recently diagnosed with PCOS as well. Also, are there any other treatments besides BCP? Will BCP help me to not get any more buildup of follicles/cysts? Does anyone else have PCOS and have regular periods and ovulate? Is this possible? Thanks!
