Hi everyone! I was just diagnosed with PCOS this month after ttc for 17mos. I had to do blood work, and HSG, and an endometrial biopsy. I thought that is was easier to be diagnosed but I suppose I was wrong. I am going to start clomid 50mg this cycle just as soon as I get AF which is now 3wks late. I just called my ob to see if she will give me provera, and Im waiting to find out. PCOS to me just seems like one big waiting game. At this point I am just trying to figure out if clomid is successful in most cases. I dont know whether I should go to see a RE now or wait things out with my ob and hope that I get pg with clomid alone. Is there anyone who as only taken clomid and concieved with PCOS?

Hi and welcome! I was just diagnosed last month. I just started Clomid and my doctor is having me try that alone with nothing else. Sorry I can't answer your question. But I hope there are many people who have gotten PG on Clomid alone.

I feel bad for all the other women going through this; but I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I hope that clomid will work. I just found out today that my OB group is leaving my insurances network and going to a new hospital, can this situation get anymore aggrivating?!?!?!
