Default Niaspan for PCOS

I was just prescribed Niaspan for my PCOS. What can I expect from this medication? I am currently eating healthy and exercising in order to lose weight... Does this medication aide in weight loss??

i dont know the answer, sorry, i dont know what that med is. I 'googled' it, and am still not sure. But im sure someone will be able to help. there is a link to the newbie roadmap in my siggie for you

Thanks for the info and responding. I believe it is a generic version of Niacin.
