Anyone suffering from Night Sweats??? I've been getting them for about a year, normally once a night - but now up to almost 3 times a night!

I haven't been offically diagnosed with PCOS - but my GYN suspects it. I have about 90% of the symptoms (no massive cysts and labwork normal, but all other symptoms, I have!) I just want to know if anyone else suffers from night sweats?? I'm pushing for a glucose test as well to see if its insilin resistance related. Any thoughts - any ideas??

I have had night sweats too... but not that often, so I don't know if it's related to PCOS :S but's very annoying and frustrating when it happens!

I've had night sweats in the past. Night sweats can be caused by a number of hormone disturbances, including insulin resistance, hypoglycemia, and hypothyroidism. Managing your PCOS with your doctor's help should alleviate the night sweats.

Thanks for the info - I know its not hypothyrodism, since about every year for the past 5 years or so I have that tested simply since all my symptoms of PCOS have been thought to be hypothyrodism. I am hoping my doctor does go through with the glucose test to see if thats the problem, and she is going to right me a script for Metformin on monday - I hope it works!!

I have night sweats but my RE doesn't seem concerned or hasn't suggested anything to help. And, my hormones seem to be under controle. But, during my first pg they seemed to stop, but they didn't during my second and so far this time I still do.
