Default Night time anger

I am fine during the day, but at about 9PM I start getting mad about everything. If the towel falls while I'm drying my hands I get angry. If the dog scratches herself I get angry. It is making my husband really upset. Do hormones change at night?

Hormones change throughout the day, but if your glucose is dropping or soaring at night that could cause a mood shift. Some people get angry when their blood sugar goes up high or down low. It could also be a medication you are on. Allergy meds have been known to do this.

Maybe just plain old fatigue? Usually by the end of my day I have had enough of just about everything, and know it is time to go to bed.

it could be anything really. with me, by the end of the day my abilities to stand normal things are way down i think just because i get cranky and tired. also, a sure sign that i will be having low blood sugar soon is the fact that i turn into some kind of crazy demon. it scares my fiancee sometimes. maybe it has to do with the times you do certain things such as take your meds. are you on anything other than the Met? It might be a good idea to take general notes on whats going on around the time you start to get upset and see if you can make any kind of connections. good luck hun

I am hypoglycemic, but I didn't know that my glucose levels could affect my mood. It makes total sense now though. Thanks!
