Default No appetite

Hi,
Is this a side effect or my hormones straightening out?
I dont feel hungry at all, not even at meal times though i force myself to eat something.
I know this is good that i m not craving for carbs anymore but was just curious if anyone else had the same thing?
I am not bloated or anything but just dont feel hungry....should i say wohoooo????

I am just starting out on 500 mg 1 time a day also. I can feel it working. I don't have any of the sugar cravings. I am also having to make myself eat. If I don't I get kind of a hypoglycemia reaction. Shaky , weak, headache , nausea. I am trying to make myself eat several small meals even if I don't want to . Lots of protein.
You should defiantly eat. You may really screw up your metabolism. Just grab something light like plain yogurt w some fruit which has a grat balance of protein and sugar. I have started taking my met in the morning with yogurt. I hate breakfast but know its good for me.

I'm feeling this, too! I am not hungry when I should be, and end up wanting to eat too much, too late. So I try to force myself to eat small amounts throughout the day (the way I did when I was pregnant, actually) I am also pretty tired I find. I've mentioned it before, but Met has made me feel like I am pregnant all over again. I feel like I am right in the middle of all the first trimester side effects, lol. I'm having aversions to certain foods, I'm having trouble getting down all my water. I'm having nausea, needing naps, etc. Now all I need is a little action in my ovaries, and maybe the puzzle will be complete! Actually, I know something is going on in my ovaries, they've been partying for days! I've not yet been on the met for 1 month (1500 mg) - so we'll see what time brings.

Best wishes!

So far so good...I started taking 500 mg of Met on Friday and will increase to 1500 mg in a few weeks. Saturday I had a headache but I'm also cutting out as much sugar as possible so I'm guessing my body was adjusting. (I had the same headache when I started Atkins a few years ago.)

I also don't have the appetite like I used to....which is good! If I get hungry between meals I'll eat a couple of spoonfuls of chicken salad or tuna salad and when it comes to meals, I end up leaving food on my plate.

Very normal. Just set a watch alarm or something to remind yourself to have small healthy snacks every 3 hours or so..otherwise you can go hypoglycemic. If you go too low, you'll eat the house down later.
