No change in LABS I have been on Met for 2 months now, I went back to the Endo last week and she said there was absolutly no change in my labs. Mind you I was only taking 1000mg's of Met a day, but I thought there would be atleast some sort of improvment. She actually said my liver emzymes are slightly elevated (more so than before) and that this treatment usually helps that. I have to go back in 4 weeks now becuase the liver test went up and the testosterone hasn't budged. In the mean time she has up'ed my dose to 2000mg's a day...She said that if the 4 weeks if my liver emzymes don't drop I have to see a gastroentorologist. She even mentioned gastric bypass...anyone heard of needing this because of a fatty liver or something??
I'm just sad because I thought my body was heading in the right direction and instead it hasn't even budged...one thing even got worse. I know these things take time but when you are trapped in a miserable body...giving it time is an eternity!!
Stormy~
P.S. Not to mention my Key West trip is in 3 days and I am afraid of the seat on the plane, they aren't usually FLUFFY friendly!!!
