I know that constipation is an early sign of pregnancy..but has anyone had the opposite? I think I O'ed late and havn't got the guts to test...seems I have almost every symptom but constipation. But you know us PCOSers we see signs everywhere..

No, I don't really have constipation. There were a couple of days I did recently, but otherwise fine. Around the time I found out though, I had the exact opposite! It was one of the reasons I was sure I WASN'T pregnant! Ha ha! Oh yeah and I take prenatals AND iron pills every day and have for a couple of years.

I never had constipation either. I went a couple times a day for the first few weeks I think but later in my pregnancy I started going every 3 days. It was never painful or uncomfortable, I Just went much, much less.

I had diahreah until 9-10 weeks and stopped metformin around 12 weeks. I actually lost pounds but I still can't eat much sweets. If I do within 10 min I need to run to the potty. But once I stopped the metformin I had really bad constipation until i used stool softners and it fixed itself.

I have IBS and usually have very loose, explosive stools. I am right now running constipated maybe 2 days a weeks and sitting on the toilet all day the other 5. Good times!

I'm about 25 weeks pregnant and haven't had any constipation whatsoever during this pregnancy.

Consider yourself lucky for now. I have had to dig out an impaction once (seriously) and I bled a lot. I have been THAT constipated.
