no cysts but still pco? ive been diagnosised pco but with several ultrasounds over the years i have never actually had a cyst on a ovary? my blood work lab values suggest pco does anyone else have this? or know something about it? thank u

It is possible to have PCOS without having the cysts. I think some of the stickys have some info about this.

i recently had an ultrasound and it showed there was no cyst my doctor told me it disapeared why is it called pcos if theres no cyst

Yes, it's very possible to have PCOS without having polycystic ovaries (PCO). The reverse is also true. A lot of doctors have fought for some time (to no avail) to have the name changed because of that. In fact, the condition does have some other (though less frequently used) names, like Stein-Leventhal Syndrome.
