I was previously on Met and had to quit taking it because I became pg. The problem is that I am gonna go back on Met in Nov but now I have no insurance and man is it expensive! Does anyone have any information on any programs that really help with the cost or that go off your income? I do not qualify for state assistance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Try purchasing it from Costco. It averages between $15 to $17 a month for me and I take 2000mg a day.

There are a couple of studies that will give you the meds for free if you take part and there is also an option to contact the Pharmaceutical Company - they have a patient assistance foundation that can defray cost. If you try either of these, post and let me know if you are accepted so I can update that question in the thread.
