Hi everyone, I am new to the site. My Husband and I decided to have a baby about 2 months ago.
I went off BC about 4 months ago, and have had pretty irregular periods (19-36 day cycles) since then. last cycle, I decided to try an ovulation test and tested for 2 weeks, up until my 22nd day of my cycle and never had an LH surge. I went to my OB/GYN and she has ordered some tests to be taken on day 3 of my next cycle. She suspects I have PCOS. I don't have any other syptoms of PCOS except for acne on my chin and lower cheeks, since I have been off BC.
I have been reading and it seems like most women with PCOS have a constant LH surge, but I am the opposite. Is it possible to have PCOS with no LH surge? Or did I just miss it? Has any one else had this problem?
I posted on your other thread I think- But as I said there, alot of women can't ovulate on their own, I don't know if I can. I haven't had a postive ovulation test yet. If the doctor finds that you can't, there are meds that can help you ovulate.
And I don't have many outside symptoms either, I look like a normal 20 year old, but I have cysts on my ovaries and go months without a period. So you never know!
