No more lurking

Hello cysters. I've been lurking about this site for a couple of years now, but am finally brave enough to open up about PCOS to others. First I would like to thank all of you who have shared your stories with us. It is a great comfort to hear about what other PCOS patients go through.

I have been struggling with TTC both in actuality and in my heart. Does God give you such a strong desire for a child if it's never meant to be? I have finally decided that no He does not. I have been reading this book called Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mize. The testimony, confession, scripture, and daily devotion from this book have had a tremendous impact in my life. I feel true faith now instead of just a lingering hopefulness. Good things have started to happen in the TTC part of my life that have never happened before and I can really feel God's presence in this.

DH and I have been married for almost 7 years and TTC seriously for the last year. I have just started taking Met 2 weeks ago working up to 1500mg today. Had normal HSG 1 1/2 weeks ago and have Clomid 50mg downstairs just waiting for next cycle.

I look forward to getting to know all of you better.

So glad you decided to join us. I'm going to pick up that book and read it. I have faith that God will bring a child into my life. I wouldn't have this desire if it wasn't His will! I guess I just have to figure out the way to get there! I''m currently in my 2ww - so hopefully I'll have news soon!

I just ordered another copy of the book from Amazon for 7.99. There are some other sites that have it cheaper, but I didn't find them until after I'd placed my order. I don't mind though it's well worth it.

My favorite part of the book is a confession about Faith. It talks about how God has given us a spirit of Faith not Fear. It's become my mantra. Everytime I start to worry getting AF or o' ing or what test results are I just say this quietly to myself. It calms me and makes me smile. GOD IS GOOD!!

Thanks for the information on the book, it sounds great. I have been struggling with the same thing myself so I will definitely pick that book up and read it.
