Hi, I can give an update. I was going to try to report weekly but I didn't notice enough of a difference to really report anything at first. It's gradual. I've been using no!no! about twice a week and it seems to me that my leg hair is growing in more sparsely. It doesn't seem to grow more slowly per se, but I believe it's coming in more patchy. I have used it on my arms a few times, but the hair on my arms is very slow growing, so it's difficult to tell.
I have not used it on my bikini area or face. I am considering using it on my backside, but it's kind of hard to reach...and I'm too embarassed to ask my husband to help me. He's really understanding but that's a little too humiliating.
I just read about an at home laser product with FDA approval that is going to be released soon - I am really excited about that, although I bet it's going to cost more than no!no! LOL. It's called silk'n.

I looked at my legs again today - definitely coming in patchier. The hair comes back just as quickly as before, but there seems to be less of it. Hey, any improvement is good, right?

My Aunt bought me it from HSN a month or two ago... I tried it out, used it correctly, was very careful, etc. and ALL it did was leave stubble. I was clean, and used the right razor head for it, and it still left stubble. *I* also stunk like burnt hair for the rest of the day. (No, it would NOT wash off for some reason...) Maybe I got a dud? The green light was on consistently and everything... it just cut the hair a little. That's it =\
And it also didn't work in some places like the underside of my thigh!

I saw this product on HSN the other night! When I can't sleep at night I usually end up watching that channel and making my wishlist and I was quite impressed of course as my fiance says, I'll buy anything just because HSN makes it look good!

There's a super review site.. distressed derma something (google it) about the nono. Don't know if that was mentioned. I bought mine on 3/12, had it delivered 3/17 from HSN. The pink color, of course. What's excellent is that they had it on flexpay, 50 dollars a month. Shipping was a little much, but whatever. Anywho, you can probably find a lot of hsn coupons online as well, for first time users in particular. My experience has been this: I have a freakin beard, people. I really do. Lol. and I would try anything to get rid of it. Had someone said "use bleach on your face daily" I might just give it a try, that's how crazy I am. So of course I tried this.. First week, didn't really feel a difference. Towards the end of the second week, I could really see a difference. Now it's been almost 3 weeks and i love it, though I'm going to return it, 'cuz I can't afford to keep it at the moment. Here's the deal... It doesn't get you super smooth, and you need to shave afterwards. Screw the buffer, just shave. However, I've noticed that I have less hair and my hair is finer. If any of you have gotten laser before (and this is not laser, just saying) you know that the smell of burning hair fills the room. It does with this too, but whatever, open a window. It basically burns your hair off. There's a tinnyy wire, which has not really burned me or anything by the way, no pain or burns so far, woohoo.. there's a tiny wire that singes all your hair, hence the smell of burnt hair. Supposedly, there's some type of thermacon or whatever technology, but I just feel that it's burning my gosh darn hair off. The little green light that lights up, if you ask me, is nothing but a little green light. If someone knows otherwise, please let me know. I've used it basically everyday, on my chin only, and on one arm. Oh, and also on my sideburns. I still have to shave everyday, with an electric razor, but the hair doesn't come out all stubbly within a few hours. Honestly, if I could afford to keep it, I would. But I can't. It did work, though, to some extent. Yes, they tell you don't use it on your face, but I believe that's because you're much more likely to burn your skin there. I tried it on my lip, and kind of felt a little burning sensation. But my chin skin is about as tough as nails, it's used to torture. HSN unfortunately only has a 30 day return policy, so I'll be sending it back on the 14th.. Again, if I could afford it, I'd keep it, because I see some lessening of the hair, and that's worth it to me. I doubt my hair will ever disappear, but I've seen about a 15% improvement.

After reading a bunch about the No No I deceided on impulse to go ahead and buy it the other night off HSN for $199 w/the 4 flexpays, so about $50 a month. I deceided if I didn't like it I could return it. I bought it to try on my face, even though it's not recommended because the face is more sensitive. FYI, My regular "face routine" takes me about 45 min, just so I can feel okay about leaving the house. Most of my hairs are corse/dark and on my chin and neck. I first pluck as many hairs that I can, then use the Braun epillator, then electric shave, and then if I am not satisfied I dry shave. Usually about 5pm I start noticing 5 o'clock shadow and by bedtime I am usually stubbly. In the past I have used the deliptory creams (which only burned my face-every time-any kind), wet shaved w/cream & w/out, used Vaniqua, been on Spiro, oh and spent about $1500 on laser treatments. None of that worked for me.
SO I didn't have high hopes for the No No when I got it 3 days ago. I first tried it on my legs, thought it worked okay. Then tried it on my arms with Great results, but that hair isn't corse like my legs and face, just darker than I would like. Then I tried my face. I was really really suprised how well it worked! It burns the hairs off down into the follicle-no more little dark spots (which is why I always plucked) YEAH!!! and the best part was that it was really fast. I have only used it for 3 days now, and so far it hasn't gotten rid of everything, but at least 85-90%. I make mutiple passes, just like when I use the epillator or shaver, stop after a little bit-use the buffer that comes with it (lightly-I think exfoliation is the key to using the no no) then I do it again. I pluck whatever is left that I can see or get too, then follow up using an electric shaver(I think the shaver helps extra with the exfolitation). Smoother than a baby's butt! I also noticed that I haven't had anymore 5 o'clock shadow and no pricklies by bedtime. Total new time for "face routine", 15 minutes!!! 20 min total with make-up (I use Bare Escentuals sp?~which I HIGHLY recommend~I don't have as many breakouts and it great for me on coverage~it hides way more than any liquid foundation I've tried) No more using the epillator or dry shaving! That makes me sooo happy!!!! I am feeling so confident, I may even wear my hair up today!! I am hoping in the long run I will see a reduction in the hair and will be able to just use the No No! If not, I am okay with that too.
Do I think it is for everybody to try on their face? No. My face is pretty tough. When I first bought my epillator I about cried when I tried it on my legs, still can't use it on my legs. When I tried it on my face for the first time I didn't even flinch. All those years of plucking I guess.
Helpful Hints!
1)I have seen on some other reviews/message boards that in the first couple weeks you should use the No No! then follow up shaving, until you start seeing the hair reduction you want. I used it again on my legs yesterday (still seemed a littled stubbly aftewards), then shaved with my Venus, legs turned out REALLY Smooth, smoother than using the Venus alone! Like I said earlier exfoliation afterwards is key, and I think the shaving helps exfoliate more.
2)I think it works best on stubble.
3)If you get one, and deceide to use it on your face too, I would keep one of the blades for face area only, that way you are not dulling your face one as fast.
4)Knees and elbows are tricky, I haven't mastered that yet (it was actually easier to use on my face)
5)Don't think it would work well for upper lip area, not enough space there to use it.
6) You do smell burning hair, Oust works pretty good for taking the smell out of the air. You can wash the smell of your skin too. I found that with my face area, by the time I use moisturizer and make-up, I don't smell it anymore.
7) Will leave your skin a little red aftewards, but it does go away pretty quickly. I have found that by the time I get done putting on my make-up it's pretty much gone.
Hope this helps someone out there! I was going to wait a couple weeks before I posted, but I have been so excited about the results I just had to share! I know it's expensive, but if you are struggling with self confidence like me and you think it will work for you TRY IT. It's worth it. You can always send it back if it doesn't! Money raising ideas? Garage sale, sell something on Ebay or Craiglist, part-time job, over-time (which is how I am paying for mine, cuz I couldn't really afford it either).
Thanks for the update Natasha! I'm glad you're seeing results! Could you update us in a couple of weeks too to let us know if the hair growth is drastically reduced?

I have only my no no for 4 days now. I don't know what your chin hairs are like, mine are dark, corse, and a lot of them ~ couldn't count them if I tried. So regardless whether I use the no no or not, I have to shave mine. (I am hoping that eventually changes).
As far as your hairs getting darker and thicker, the only thing I can think of is some of the burnt hair is still in your follicle or blunting the hair when it is burning it off. The blunting hairs happens to me quite a bit with my epillator, blunts them instead of pulling them out. I have been using a decent men's electric shaver (I think they work better) on mine after using the no no. I think it helps by "shaking" the rest of those little bugger out of the follice that the buffer didn't get and shave off the few that the no no didn't seem to get. I also don't know if you use an exfoliting (like the "microdermabrasion" products that they sell in the store) type cleanser on your face or not. I use one about 3 days a week, for me it help keep me from getting that "shadow" look. I really think exfoliating with this product is key.
What were you using to remove the hairs before using the no no? If you have never shaved, I would try some kind of scrubbing cleanser on your chin. Not right after you use the no no. I'd give your face some time to recover, like if you use the no no in the a.m. try to doing the scrub at night or whatever you feel comforatable with. Keep in mind, I'm no expert, these are just things that have worked for me. I would save shaving as a last resort. I've plucked forever too, which from what I hear is like the worst thing you can do.
I moslty plucked the hairs, sometimes wax, but the chin hairs are much worse. I have 2 very young boys, so I have precious time for grooming. But when I can I am now doing the nono, and buff. I shaved after nono this am and it got rid of most stubble, now at night stubble is back! OH THIS SUCKS!
But seriously, thanks so much for your help! It does do me good, believe me! I do better on my dominent side of my chin, the other has burn marks from the blade... I still have to get the hang for it I guess! I have been playing with the no!no! now for i think 2.5 weeks....
