Don't let it get you down! With kids, you're bound to be harassed and not have a moment's rest. Another reason I'm happy with shaving.

When my kids were young, the fact that shaving with an electric razor took seconds rather than many minutes was important. And as the kids got old enough to be conscious of such things it was good that they grew up simply accepting that mom and dad both shaved in the morning. To them, that was normal. Before they were school age, of course, I explained to them that most moms don't have to shave every day and that while some moms don't have any hair at all growing on their face other moms would have a moustache and beard if they didn't shave, so moms like me shave to stop us having a moustache and beard.

Just curious what you are shaving with? I've been using the no no every morning w/electric shaver, I did pluck a few this morning~habit I guess. On the encouraging side, I did notice I had a small bald spot amongst all the stubble! I know what you mean about the boys. I have an 8yr old son who has watched me all his life pluck, tweeze, shave you name it. I have given up on trying to hide it from him~there's no privacy with kids! I just tell him I am "getting ready". Don't know if you have seen any of the Shrek movies, but one has Fiona shaving in it. We were watching it a few months ago with the neighborhood boys and they thought it was the funniest thing that she was shaving. My son was confused and was like "what's so funny?" I haven't explained to him yet that all women don't have hairy faces. He didn't rat me out, but for a few brief moments I was freaking out! Guess someday soon I should talk to him about it.

Since you have been using your no no longer than me, have you noticed any smoother patchy areas happening yet? I was excited about mine, hope doesn't come back and it stays gone! When I was doing the laser hair removal the technician told me that hair follicles actually have a pretty long growth cycle, like months, so the ones you remove today probably aren't the ones you got rid of yesterday~even though I could swear some of mine are(I think plucking is supposed to speed up the hair cycle too, that's why they say not to pluck~even though I do, I am hoping not to have to soon). That's why it can take 3 to 12 months of laser treatments. I don't expect to see any real or lasting result from the no no anytime soon. Hang in there! (Sorry about my lengthy posts!

I only tried shaving once or twice... I have a man's Gillette fushion power razor. I normally use it to shave pits and legs.

I am now bought the Conair hair reval system replacement pads to try instead of the nono buffer. The nono buffer seems to not buff like new anymore. The conair buffer works better.

I have not noticed an improvement on my chin so far with the nono. I should try angain to shave after nono. However, the conair buffer does work to soften the chin.

According to the Rio Salon Laser hair removal people (I saw a show on it), the hair growth cycle is months & months! 6 months to kill the follicle completely!

I have a 1 year old and a 3 year old, so i mostly nono when they nap!! lol

Sorry I haven't updated in awhile with any results. For me, the nono isn't worth the money it costs. I have to admit I am too lazy to do it enough to get long term results. For me, I'd rather just shave or wax and get smooth legs immediately. I believe if you would use it regularly you'd get good results.
