I had my son at the end of September. Bled until the beginning of November and have had no period since. I have bcps to start but cannot because I have no had a period yet. Can I just start them anyhow? or won't they be effective?

Hopefully not a silly question but - are you breastfeeding?

That will delay periods - and BCPs can dry up milk.

WRT starting the pills - yes you can start any time but if you do it that way use back-up protection (or no sex ) for a month.

My son was a Yasmin baby, possibly because I started with no period and didn't think I needed back up, with PCOS and all... surprise!!!
