No response to Clomid 50mg or 100mg, soon to try 150mg......anyone else had this?
Hi everyone,
I have recently finished my 2nd round of Clomid, 1st round I took 50mg day 2-6 and only had 1 lead follicle which collapsed before ovulation. 2nd round took 100mg and had 3 baseline scans, none showed any lead follicles :-(
Next round usually starts about day 30, currently on 17 or so....and am going to take 150mg day 2-6 with 1000mg metformin.
I don't know if you want to hear from me, lol. I was on Clomid all the way up to 150 mg and it never worked for me. I finally went on to injectibles. This time around we skipped the Clomid and went to Femara, and it worked great. Though, with the Clomid, I didn't do it with metformin so that's different.

I did 2 rounds of Clomid at 100mg and then 2 rounds at 150mg. The last round worked! (And I was on 2000mg Met). Good luck!

I did 50 mg, 100 mg, and 150 mg. combined with metformin. I never ovulated on any of the milligrams. I am going to be starting injectables next month. I hope the 150 works for you!!
Hi. I took 50 mg of clomid,then 100mg, and last night i just finished 150mgs....hopefully it will work....im also getting the hcg shot to help me ovulate and doing a iui.....I can keep you updated i go thurs for a ultra sound to see if i have any follices from taking the 150 mg of clomid.have you ever had the hcg shot i was wondering if it has sideeffects? have a good day.

Clomid round 1 last december 2006 100 mgbfn no o' Clomid round 2 50mg bfn no o'. 11-07 clomid round 3 150mg,hcg trigger,IUI go for ultrasond thur 3-13-08.showed two follices now in the two wk wait! been on metformin 2 yrs 2500mg

I took metformin and clomid up to 200mg and had no response. After that I did ovarian drilling and then went back on clomid. I got up to 100mg and I ovulated this month.
Hey! I am in the same boat...In January I started 50mg of Clomid, in February I did 100mg...and now March...I am starting 150mg..I am feeling a bit nervous, like, what if this doesn't work, because I have thought all along that this would be the "magic pill" and now the reality is setting in...what if its not? ttc is so hard!!

I did 2 rounds of clomid@50mg and I had 33 day cycles each time...No pg...Then we tried 100mg and I am currently on day 43 and no ovulation. He wants to up me to 150mg next but I am reluctant to do so. But I have the OV watch this time AND he wants to monitor me closely this cycle so I am still considering it. I am not as excited about increased side effects though.
well as you can see from my siggy- I have gone all the way to 150mg of Clomid and I have never 'O'. It seemsto donothing for me so hopefully we will be moving to injectables soon.

TTC for too many years to count but on meds since June 2007.
1- 08/07 50mg Met,50mg Clomid CD 3-7-P4 3.2! No 'O'-BFN
2- 09/07 1000 Met, 100mg Clomid CD 2-6- P4 2.1! No O = BFN
3- 01/08 Met, 150mg Clomid CD 2-6- p4 ??? No O= BFN
4- 19/02 2000 met 150 CL(no AF straight onto cycle)
I took my 5 days of clomid days 3-7 and had a hcg shot and iui ...had two follicles close to the right size...now were in the wait.....sucks ..may be it worked....not really any side effects from clomid just hot flashes and some cramping...and sore boobs from the hcg shot. well good luck to all you ladies.
