I am 16 1/2 weeks and i have no urge to be with my husband whatsoever.. Is this a normal thing. I dont even want to think about it. I know he is getting pissy u can tell.. I just dont know what to do. I just feel nasty and fat.. Anyone else feel this way.. ugghhh

I feel you! I haven't had the urge to have sex with my DH since I got pregnant. We have had it a few times, but really I have no desire whatsoever. I've heard that once you hit the second trimester, you get a higher libido and more energy. When does that start?!?!?!

Well I partly know what your going through....LOL I know what you mean when you say you feel nasty and fat and like you just don't want anyone to see your body! I feel the same way, I had lost a bunch of weight before I got PG and I was feeling better about myself then I ever had before. Now that my body has changed into a baby incubator I don't even like seeing myself naked.
The only difference with me is that my DH knows me better then anyone and he knows exactly how I am feeling about my body and he has done everything in his power to make me feel good about myself. Now I know he is full of POO when he tells me I am beautiful and he loves my body but it still feels good to hear thats for sure, and that has made staying intimate easier for us.
I am almost 31 weeks and we are still BD'ing pretty much every day.

I know what you mean but mine is for different reasons I think. I'm still in my first trimester & I'm sick. I have no sex drive whatsoever right now & the thought of being...shaken or moving around like that is SO not appealing. DH is handling it really well so far but I know it's going to get old. He's being understanding though.

This is going to sound SOOOOOOOO old school...just do it. You'll be glad you did. I NEVER EVER just sit around and get the 'urge' for sex. So, I have to make myself...I eventally enjoy it. Plus, it will keep him off your back for a good week or so. That sounds horrible!

Id say get used to it for awhile. My drive didn't come back until the middle of my 2nd trimester...it stayed around for a few weeks and hasn't been heard from since *lol*

Totally normal, pregnancy hormones can play havoc with you. I do sometimes give in and just "do it", but dh also knows that when I don't want to, I don't want to, and if he gets pissy he knows either where the cold shower is, or the vibrators are kept!

no sex drive here either... I have tried to "just do it" a few times... but DH can tell... and he hates when I do that.. he feels like he's taking advantage of me... so it's been pretty much nil in our house... he's just getting better at taking care of things himself... lol... I have been waiting for that surge of drive... but so far nada...

Well im in my second trimester. And im still waiting for that surge.. I think im just gonna grin n bare it..lol and get r done. Hopefully i will get into it once it has started.. God i sound awefull...

I had no sex drive in my first trimester, but the second I did. Now that I'm in my third, I'm losing the desire again.

I had the desire but I had morning sickness for so long that when we'd start doing it I'd instantly want to throw up on DH. So once that calmed down it was much better....I find now that I'm in the 3rd Trimester I want him more than throughout my whole pregnancy.
I know lots of girls online who got pregnant and there sex drive disappeared for the whole pregnancy...so I think its a personal thing.
It'll come back eventually though!
