I started taking both Diane 35 (well, actually the generic version), and Spiro at the same time, about 2 months ago. I started out on 25 mg of the spiro, and am now up to 100 mg daily. I've noticed that I have no sex drive anymore, and it's starting to drive me crazy! (Not to mention my boyfriend as well I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with this, and what they did about it. Should I drop the spiro or switch to a different bcp?
When I started the Diane, it was a week after my period was supposed to come (I was off bcps for about a month). AF started a week before I took the placebo pills (when I would've started naturally), and I've been bleeding since, and that was over a month ago! It's only been light bleeding, but still it's starting to drive me batty. Do you think it's a problem with the bcp, the spiro or with the timing? Should I stay on the pills and see if it works itself out?
can't comment on the spiro but when i was on dianette i lost all interest in sex. i didn't even want to be kissed or touched. i just wanted him the hell away from me! these meds help with one problem but cause loads of others. xx

I was wondering if anyone else has had problems with this, and what they did about it. Should I drop the spiro or switch to a different bcp?
