I just bought an awesome book titled "No sugar added deserts." It's not totally "no sugar added" because recipes do ask for honey (one or two tbsp), but none of them use granulated, brown or icing sugar. It contains over 100 recipes of several types of deserts, from cakes and pies to sherbets and ice creams - even deserts with chocolate! Since it's in French, I don't think you'll be able to find it in the US, so here are a few recipes for you.
Strawberry and yogurt "ice cream"
3 cups strawberries, washed and hulled
1-3/4 cups plain yogurt
2 tbsp honey (optional)
Rose petals
In a food processor, purée strawberries. Keep a few whole strawberries for garnish.
Mix puréed strawberries with yogurt and add honey. Pour mixture in a bowl and put in the freezer for 40 minutes.
Remove from the freezer. Using a fork, stir icy portions into middle of bowl. Return to the freezer for 1 hour.
Put in the refrigerator 15 minutes before serving.
Serve in wine glasses, garnish with strawberries and rose petals.
Chocolate and hazelnut mousse
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tbsp milk (they recommand soy)
2 tsp honey
1-2/3 tbsp lf/ff butter
1/3 cup roasted hazelnuts, ground
2 eggs, separated
In a small saucepan, mix cocoa, milk, honey and butter over low heat. Remove from heat and add hazelnuts. Add one egg yolk, blend well; add second egg yolk, blend well.
Whip egg whites until firm. Gradually and very delicately blend egg whites into the chocolate mixture, using a spatula to lift. Pour mousse in 2 wine glasses or cups and chill for at least 1 hour.
Apple and strawberry crumble
2 red apples, washed, peeled and thinly sliced
1-1/4 cups strawberries, washed and hulled
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
Juice of 1 orange
4 tbsp whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
2 tbsp lw/ff butter, melted
In a large bowl, mix fruit, cinnamon and orange juice. Pour mixture in an oven-safe pan.
Mix flour, oatmeal and butter. Pour on fruit mixture and bake in a 350 'F oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
