So here is my situation...don't really know if I have PCOS for sure.

The only symptom I have is Polycystic ovaries. The only reason I know that is beacuse I was having mild pelvic pains so my Dr. sent me for a transvaginal ultrsound which showed both ovaries to have many small cysts and he said I most likely have PCOS. He is sending me to a Gyno and took some bood work (still waiting for results)

I have been thin all my life, have been on the pill for 10 years (mainly due to really heavy painful periods) and the only other issue I seem to have lately is being really tired all the time? and I have had IBs for a few years which is probably totally unrelated.

Not sure if I do have it although my sister had it (same as me no symptoms) but only found out when she was having trouble conceiving. They did Ovarian drilling and she was fine, had 2 kids and no sympotms at all since?
I would like to start trying within a year or so and I'm just worried I will have trouble now too?

I guess I will wait for blood work and see what the gyno says, just wondering if there is anyone else out there like me? And maybe I don't have PCOS but just PCO?

I guess we will wait and see??

I've also always been thin. My androgens and insulin are normal. But I have ovarian cysts. In fact, I took one round of clomid and developed a large cyst on my right ovary. I just had ovarian drilling yesterday, so I hope I have the same luck as your sister.

I do have oily skin, some acne and mild hirsutism, so I can't say I'm totally symptom free.

I used to have really bad acne as a teenager, but don't most teenagers have acne?

The fact that I have been on the pill since 18 years old makes me wonder if I would have more symptoms if I was off it? My periods however befeore the pill were really painful and heavy so I would imagine they would still be that way?

Who knows...just wait and see I guess?

I think being on the pill masked my symptoms for years. Obviously it regulated my period, but I also never had any problems with acne or hirsutism. I've been off the pill for about 3mons now, and I'm already noticing my skin is much worse and I'm getting a bit of a mustache. Nice!

I don't have any symptoms other than the fact that I hyperstimulate very easily.
