Help me! My doctor prescribed provera for me to induce af. I was supposed to take 10mg/10days but instead took 10mg/7days (only because I went out of town and forgot meds). I have taken provera many times before and had very good responses on 10mg/5days but today when I suspected I got my cycle I only had a couple of hours of spotting and now there is no sign of af at all. Is this normal? Has this happened to anyone else? Should I finish off the unfinished provera? or should I wait a couple of weeks and begin the cycle again?

If it were me, I wouldn't finish of the last 3 pills of provera. If my cycle didn't start in a few days, I would wait a few weeks and do a new cycle with a new batch of provera and take all the pills for 10 days. Good luck!

It can take up to 14 days after the last pill for AF to show. If it's been more than 14 days, call you dr and tell them what happened. You may have to take it all over again.

Do you know for certain that you're not pg also. Maybe you should check. It could be that you didn't have much lining to come away.
