Now that I suspect I have PCOS, I've been much more aware of every little pain etc down in my lower abdomen. I still have regular periods(but shorter and more intense than I used to get), and mine should start spotting tomorrow or so, and all day I've had either a dull ache or periodic small sharp pains where my ovaries should be (to either side and below my belly button)..as well as off and on during the month...they've been over both sides, alternating. Does anyone else have this or know what it is? They aren't extremely painful, more annoying than anything else. I suspect I've had them off and on, but never paid that much attention to them before now. I used to associate small, sharp ovary pains to ovulation, but this is outside of that time of the cycle.
Yes- I get them during ovulation and right before my period starts... I've got endo and PCOS, and honestly, I have no clue what to attribute it to. I wish I could be of more help, I just merely want to let you know that you're not alone.

I'm trying to get a real doctor....the NP I've been assigned to probably wouldn't have any idea considering he thought my tests were normal (testosterone of 73!)
believe it or not i was just complaining that i wanted to rip my ovary out bc i keep getting this sharp pain -- i am seeing the doc in 2 weeks so i am going to ask her then - ill keep you all posted

they had me talk to one of their nurses and the new doctor said she would look over my concerns, but I can't get an actual appointment with her until January....which bugs the heck out of me! So, we'll see....I felt like a blathering idiot trying to explain to this guy (male nurse) why I think my hormone tests were off......I had the metaphorical feeling of banging my head against a wall!
the doctor would try to look at my stuff next week.
i know how you feel -- i hate trying to explain things sometimes because if a person is not familiar with your history or what you are suffering from they kind of think you are this idiot just rambling about something - like i said my doc appointment is soon unless for some reason it has to change - and i will ask her about it
