I had a D & C done Friday after I miscarried and the bleeding stopped on Sunday. Is it still normal to be cramping? It was so bad Sunday night I took 2 Darvaset(sp?) and last night it woke me at 1:30am. I have had some slight cramping during the day but the worst is at night after 8:00 or 9:00 pm. Has anyone had this happen? I have a call in to my Doc but they have not called back yet. Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Andra,
Just wanted to reply to your post, but unfortunately I don't know the answer to your question. I've never had a d & c done b/c my 2 m/c's were chemical pregnancies.
I hope your Drs office calls you back soon.
In the meantime I'm sure some of the ladies on this board will be able to give you some info. Sorry I can't be more helpful!
So sorry to hear what you are going through, I hope you're doing OK.

I had a D&C in December and I can remember cramping until January. Sometimes they were bad and other times they were not. I was always feeling twinges. I can't believe that you stopped bleeding! I bled for two weeks afterwards. That is great for you! Take care of yourself.

Thanks Kim and Bethany,

for your kind words it really helps to know that my Cysters are out there to support me through this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss too Kim, this is my third m/c and it doesn't get any easier. I do fortunately have two daughters though 3 and 5 who keep me going. I had a D & C done at 16weeks with my first pregnancy but I don't remember cramping like this. I still have not heard from my doc so I will call them back again this morning.
