Question Normal hormone levels

Is there any medication for excess hair even though the hormone levels are normal?

Thank you.

This situation confuses me as well. I have I think just one level that is slightly off, yet I have nearly ALL the symptoms of PCOS. Luckily, the only one I don't have is overweight, but the hair growth is rediculous!

All medications have side-effects and it's probable that you were sensitized in fetal life so that you respond to even limited amounts of testosterone in the same way as men do.

Best answer IMHO is to get a men's-type electric razor.

This link might be helpful. It has a lot of information about normal testosterone levels and hirsutism.

I don't really care if the meds have side effects, I just want to know if there any meds that work.
