normal insulin but stil have AN

My blood test showed that i have normal insulin but i have AN
what could it be? The AN isn't that dark its tan color i have fair
skin. Could be that its not AN and its something else could it be
something else?

What was your normal reading? My fasting insulin was 13 and I have AN. I have very fair skin and my AN is kindof redish in the crease of my armpits. According to some of the bloodwork stickies on that Kat has posted, fasting insulin over 10 indicates insulin resistance even though the lab values for normal are much higher. BUT it is very difficult to test for insulin resistance. Fasting insulin does not necessarily prove or disprove it.

My fasting insulin is 8.7 and non fasting was 60.
