Default Is It Normal Not To Feel Anything On Wellbutrin Xl?

I just started taking the generic form of it today. From what I read I expected to be shaky, nervous, agitated - I couldn't even stay awake. I was really excited about taking Wellbutrin because I'm constantly tired and my body's always exhausted, but it didn't live up to its reputation. Is this normal? Does it just take a while to get going or something?

hey there lightpollution - I took Wellbutrin before and I remember it taking a while to show up. At first I was really draggy and quiet then after about 2 weeks I was more awake. Def give your body some time to adjust and if you still don't feel quite right ask for something else. I'm currently taking Lexapro and its more noticable faster IMO - tho I still have shacky hands sometimes but I'm WAYYYYYY calmer. Good Luck!

i take the generic for wellbutrin sr 150 2x a day. i just restarted after 6wks off and i slept alot yesterday. it can make you sleepy at first. i am going thurs to the dr to get either prozac or zoloft. or something i can take for pgcy. wellbutrin makes my hair fall out, it's a really rare symptom. it started a few months after i started taking it. so watch out for that. but i also lost about 10 lbs the first week cause i didn't want to eat anything.
