Hi everyone! I have a strange problem - this month I did not get the normal withdrawal bleed after stopping the active pills of Yasmine bcp. Af usually comes on Monday night or Tuesday morning, but it is now Wed afternoon and still nothing. I do feel some mild period pain though, but this started yesterday and no af as yet. I was even thinking that I could be pregnant (had sex exactly 1 week ago, sorry if TMI) but the HPT came up negative. Is it too early to see a positive in only 1 week?
Dont really know what to think or what to do - should I believe the HPT and just keep going as if nothing has happened or should I believe the lack of AF and go to see a doctor? I am a vet so it would be advisable for me to know ASAP if I was in fact pregnant so that I could cut some of the work related risks such as X-rays and anaesthetics. I would welcome any suggestions, thoughts, experiences, etc, etc.
Awaiting your replies, Mariya.
Personally I would talk to the dr. It would just be reassuring to have his/her advice before starting your new cycle of bcp. The earliest I had a positive hpt was at 9 dpo with my third child.
Good luck, I hope it turns out well!
Jenny

My RE told me that you will not always have AF on the pill when you have PCOS. I'm not sure if this is true because I always get AF on the pill (sometimes she never leaves) I would wait until it's time to start a new pack and test again. If it's negative, then you should be ok to start.
