Question Is this normal? So many questions...

I was technically 12 weeks when I lost my babe, who had stopped growing a few weeks prior to that. M/c on the 10th of may, I thought I'd passed everything there was in there to pass. But twice since then I have passed small pieces of tissue. Very obviously not clots. Is this normal? I have to go for an u/s tomorrow, but I am very worried that they are going to tell me that I need a d&c anyways. Did anyone else continue to pass tissue after m/c and NOT need a d&c?
Also, just wondering...my RE had said that I should call for an appointment 1 month after m/c is complete to set up a schedule for treatment in my next cycle. Did they mean 1 month after m/c happened or 1 month after I stop bleeding?? How long am I going to bleed for?

I don't really know all the answers to your question. Each time I m/c I began a new cycle of fertility meds beginning on the first day the bleeding started. I've never had a d&c. I have passed tissue intermitantly with m/c. I would think it was over and then the next day have a little more. I don't know if that helps.

They mean 1 month after you stop bleeding.

As far as the tissue, I'd go in for an U/S. I hope you don't need a D&C!

I passed tissue two months after I gave birth to Gabriel. My OB thought that this was evidence that I needed a D&C, I actually didn't! I had the D&C but there was nothing left other than a really thick lining.

So, I'd say that it can still go either way.
