I have been up to 1500mg of met a day for about three weeks now. My side effects change day to day. One day good, one day bad. Well, today is a bad day and I can't go far from the bathroom. This is where the TMI comes in. I know it is normal to pass the met in your stool but I have passed 6 tabs the last two trips to the bathroom within hours of each other. Is this normal? Should I be worried that I'm not passing all my pills on a daily basis? I mean it can't be good for you to have all that in your system! Can it!?! Help!

The Medication side effects sheet states that you can pass some of the pill through stools. I don't think you need to be freaked out about it. I would talk to your RE to see if you are possibly absorbing any of the meds. Hope this helps...
