Question Nose Bleeds????

Its been just about 8 months since i had seen my Endo ... at that time
he had said i didnt test positive for Diabetes ... but did perscribe me
Glucophage
However I am kinda wondering if i should go back in quickly and get
re-tested as I have all of a sudden had nose bleeds (which i have never had before)
... i read somewhere thats a sign of very high blood sugar ....
but you would think that taking 2000mg/day of Glucophage would take care of that

Has anyone else heard this before or is suffering from the same?

p.s
ive also been getting headaches from hell lately and i all of a sudden love to
drink water ... where before my daily intake of liquids was just cans Pepsi One...

Thanks .... *hugs* Cheri

Default High Blood Pressure.

Please get to either your endo or primary care physcian right away and have your blood pressure checked out. . Unexplained nose bleeds and severe headaches (that aren't migranes) indicate high blood pressure.

Keep us posted.

I've never heard of Nose Bleeds being a sign of Diabetes, but I have heard of them in relation to Blood Pressure. You should go see your regular Doc probably to have them give it a look.

If you are having a particularly bad allergy season, that can cause nose bleeds as well.

Good luck!
