Not this, not now. I had blood work done today to see if I got pg, well I did, but my progesterone is coming down, so I will probably miscarry over the weekend. Damn it! ANyone know when we can start the clomid again?

Kelli - I asked for them and he said they won't do anything. I guess I will just enojy this little bean while I have it. I am keeping my fingers crossed it all works out in the end. I will keep you updated.

What levels were your progesterone? I am assuming you have had more than 1 since you said they are declining. I would ask your Dr if he would just do this for you even if he doesn't really believe in it. My ob doesn't believe in it either but my other Dr does.
Also, what was your beta if you don't mind answering?

SHelly - I am so sorry for your loss. Maybe this cycle we can be clomid buddies. How far along were you?
Sandra - I went in on Monday and they said my progesterone was over 20 (I don't have an exact number) and that my lining was looking good. I went in this morning and my lining had gotten thicker, which they wanted to see and did a blood test. He didn't give me exact numbers, he just said "According to your numbers, you probably got pg, but your progesterone is dropping so you'll probbly get your period". And that was that. He told me he wanted to see me on Tuesday to discuss. I am juts keeping my fingers corssed that maybe by some glimmer of chance it works out.

I know this is a long shot but could you run to gnc and get some natural progesterone cream? It's better than nothing. There is a thread on the alternative remedies (it's a sticky I believe) with more info.
Also, progesterone levels vary throughout the day so maybe it wasn't such a big drop? I wish he would have given you a number. Did he do a beta or was he basing you probably being pregnant of the progesterone level?

The npc will not hurt. I noticed your only 12 dpo so that was why I asked if he did an hcg or just check your progesterone. He should not have said that you 'probably' got pg, he should know a definite. Maybe he was just checking progesterone and they are dropping because conception may have not occurred? And the hcg, if it was qualitive (just tells you yes or no) or quantative (gives and actual amount of hcg in your system) could be wrong to. That is if they did qualitative.
Anyhow, I really do think you need a new Drs. He should be more specific with you rather than saying maybe, probably, and your numbers are dropping.
The number you got on Monday, the 20, just indicates you ovulated.

I can't believe that they won't give you progesterone!!! I would demand progesterone too! If you have not started to m/c, it is not too late! I would also ask what your numbers were. A progesterone above 8 is hopeful. If it was 20 on Monday, it might not have dropped below 8 yet.
My progesterone dropped when I was 7 weeks. They did the blood draw on Friday, and on Monday, we found out it had dropped to 10.6. I don't know how much more it dropped between Fri, and Mon., but I started oral prometrium as soon as we got the results on Monday. I really think that the prometrium saved my pregnancy.
I would call the doc on call tonight, or tomorrow morning, and demand that they call in an Rx for progesterone ASAP, or you will hold them personally responsible if you lose this baby. And you will be looking for a NEW doctor. Even if they THINK that it will do no good, it won't hurt either!!! Better to be safe than sorry.

I agree - progesterone can't hurt anything. Mine is VERY low when I'm pregnant...it was 7 with my first pregnancy and 5 with my second...progesterone suppositories got me through with both!
