I was trying to play off of the Not Another Teen Movie title, but I'm not sure if it came across well.
I just took my first 500mg tablet of Metformin. The doctor has prescribed 500mg 2x a day. I have read alot of the threads on what to do and what can happen, so I feel prepared and sort of anxious. I am having a turkey sandwich, a glass of milk and I had a spoonful of plain yogurt (disgusting!) to go with it. I purchased a woman's multivitamin, a calcium and magnesium vitamin and some acidophilus tablets. I was only taking a complex b vitamin before. My labs showed high testosterone and low progesterone, but the doctor thinks that I may start to ovulate with the metformin and excercise. I'm not looking to get pregnant *yet* (granted, this was music to my husbands ears), but I may also start tracking my ovulation with my temprature. I can't take birth control and I'm sort of scared that she may be right and the ole pull and pray method won't work anymore. She suggested condoms and/or a diaphram.
Man, I hope I do ok tonight, I am sort of scared of taking a dose in the AM! It's 9:40PM and I wake up at 5AM. I know I should take it at the same time every night, but tomorrow, I am shooting for 7PM or 8PM. I usually get up and shower right away, get ready for work, play with my doggies and head out the door by 6:30 and have breakfast at 7AMish while at work. I read about the no eggs deal... is that everybody? I usually have some every morning. I drink a ton of water everyday, so that should be a non-issue. I picked up some Wheaties from the grocery store in case I feel like I need to have something when I wake up. I also purchased some fiber tablets as someone suggested and some Gas X!
Thanks for 'listening' everyone.
