Default not convinced

Hello... I was diagosed with PCOS just this past week but I haven't accepted it as a diagnosis yet (or I'm just in denial!). I am 19 and have always had somewhat irregular cycles 30-52 days... I also just started getting really bad acne within the past year.

My naturopathic doctor had me do a hormone panel and my progesterone and progesterone/estradiol ratio were both very low. However, my testosterone and DHEAS were both within normal ranges. Also, my cortisol was way high, as was my LH.. My LH:FSH ratio was 5:1. Based on the results and my symptoms she diagnosed me with pcos.

Has anyone else here had semi-regular periods and normal testosterone/DHEAS and still diagnosed with pcos? I thought women with PCOS had like very irregular or no periods at all.

I'm just looking for some reasurrance... This has been difficult for me to accept and I really want to make sure that it actually is PCOS before I really start worrying about it.

Thank you!
