Not in Denial (but maybe living that way)

Hello all! I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Heather and this is my first post here. I've been married for just over a year and my husband and I are ready for a baby, as many of us here are. My story probably isn't any different then everyone else...

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006. I knew something was up when I missed 6 months of my menstrual cycle and I wasn't stressed. So I went to the doctor and she diagnosed me. She put me on Yazmin and Metformin, told me to lose some weight and told me I was on my way! The Metformin made me sicker then anything and the Yazmin didn't help with the weight loss. So I stopped taking both and here I am, 3 years later and no different then before. We're trying to do things naturally but having a hard time since everyone we know (and I mean everyone) is either expecting or new parents.

I'm hoping to learn a lot from here... and hoping to grow as an individual.

Welcome Heather !!

Well I know you said you tried the Met and made you sick as it does most of us, but it could be a key component to what you need for TTC. You could try ER Met or msot people start low dose and work their way up. I say give it another try and invest in some immodium oh and since you are TTC I would go to FertilityFriend.com and get to BBT charting. Its very helpful and you will become a pro at understanding your own body..
