Make sure you ask your endocrinologist straight out. I was at a womens doctor and told her my symptoms and that an endocrinologist put me on Met and she said that he wouldn't have done that unless he thought I had PCOS. The next time I saw him I asked and he said yes, like he was surprised I asked. I think he just forgot to tell me. Anyway, it can't hurt to ask. At least make him narrow down what he thinks might be the problem. It also helps to make yourself as informed as possible, so you're in the right place.
