Question Not diagnosed with PCOS but looking for some answers...

I've been having weird symptoms for the past few months, especially with my menstrual cycle...someone mentioned PCOS to me. I realize that I need to go to the doctor and that nobody here can give me a diagnosis, but I can't get in to the doc. for quite a while and I'm basically frustrated and looking for any insight or possibilities. I googled PCOS when the person said that and was confused since I have a regular period and am really thin (20 y.o., 5'3" 115 lbs.)...then I discovered this site and found out that you can be thin and have regular periods with PCOS. So, just wondering if any of the symptoms I'm going to tell you about are similar to symptoms you ladies out there experience or have experienced in the past. Also, if they are totally off base and/or you have more/other possibilities I'd love to hear that too.
-Anxiety and mild depression (which I don't know if is relevant bc I was diagnosed with OCD as a young teen).
-My pms symptoms have been seriously horrible (I never had problems with PMS before)---they start about ten days before AF hits...bad nausea, cramping, back ache, sore breasts, bloating, diarrhea that turns into constipation and then back to diarrhea the day I start, extreme fatigue, and I have bad mood swings and irritability
-I've always had awful cramps during AF, but they have been different lately--I feel them much more in my lower back and thighs than I actually do in my stomach.
-My flow has pretty much doubled as far as how many tampons I go through during AF.
-I've had severe acne since I was 11 or 12...nothing makes it better (I've seen my gp about it and she is never into looking into why it won't go away). I've always been super self conscious about it, it's the big, red cystic type stuff; I have it mostly on my jaw and under my chin as well as all over my back and shoulders...it has also decided to spread down my upper arms as well.
-I have my own "happy trail" type hair growth--it's gross...starts in my pubic region and goes up to my breast bone.
-If I don't eat at least every three to four hours or so I start getting cranky, tired, and have really shaky hands.
-For some reason I have major thirst problems after 7pm. I literally go through three 20 oz bottles of water between 7pm-11pm every night.

Sorry if this is completely off-base, I'm just super-frustrated and tired of feeling not myself. Looking into every possibility right now. Thanks girls!

what id suggest is to write down everything that you want to ask/say to the dr. Thats what i always do so i dont forget anything.

Of course I am NOT a DR but alot of your sxs are what I was experiencing. I was 27 5'4 125 when I was diagnosed with PCOS. I never really thought much about all of these sxs till I was TTC our first child.
Def make the appt and see your DR because thats the only way you will truely know! Good Luck to you
