 Not enough or too many...
My gyno. had me do 4 different cycles of Clomid (50, 100, 150, and 50mg). My progesterone was checked and showed that I never did ovulate. However, I never did have an ultrasound to see if I was growing follicles. My RE just put me on the lowest dosage of Letrozole (Femera) along with Gonal F and Luveris injections. I had to cancel that cycle due to too many follicles. My RE told me that because of my PCOS, any future injection cycles would result in the same thing. I can't seem to get a break...it's either not enough or too many.
Is it possible that I was growing follicles while on Clomid, but just never would ovulate?? Does a progesterone blood test tell whether there is mature follicles, or does it just determine ovulation?
Is anyone else going through a similar situation?? |
